Happy Anniversary Mark and  Jean Stanfield. I was impressed when your girls called the studio and set up an appointment for pictures to be taken of them for your anniversary. A lot of thought goes into a 20 year old and a senior in high school planning pictures for a gift. They even went shopping and bought clothes to coordinate the look of the photos.

You must be proud of them both. I was told that some tears were shed when you opened your anniversary gift. I told them both that they were giving you the best gift that a parent could receive. And it sounds to me like you felt the same way when you recieved  your gift.

Once again Happy Anniversary to you. May your lives be spent together- Forever!

Happy Birthday to You!!! =)

One year ago yesterday, someone came into my life that I wasn’t expecting! He has found a place in my heart that noone else could fill. He makes me laugh, he makes me happy, he makes me feel joy. He has brought me back to the days of Pat-a-cake and pacifiers. He puts fingerprints all over my glass door, he pours milk down my oak cabinets, he gives me a morning smile that lightens up my day, no matter what I may be facing.

The day that I told my mom that I was going to be a mama. She told me that grandbabies find in a way into your heart that is special beyond belief. Something special that you have never felt before. I could not begin to image what she meant until I saw him the day he was born. AND BOY WAS SHE RIGHT!!!

Happy Birthday Bryson! Your a very special boy!

It happened about 17 years ago. My life changed completely. My first child was born. I could never prepare myself for the feelings and experiences that having a child would bring. they are overwhelming in every way. I look at Dakota and can hardly believe that he is already a Senior in high school. Time goes by so quickly.

Dakota you are learning as I write this blog the intensity of a parents love. As a daddy yourself, you are understanding the lenghts that I would go to protect you. I want you to know that you are one of  the most amazing gifts that God has ever given me. You have saved me from myself without even knowing it, and reminded me everyday to see life from a different view. I love you with my whole heart Dakota!!!
